SUMMARY OF JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
This position supports the Corporate Sales Business Unit in Groups/Franchises within a specific assigned customers list. The role is responsible for driving sales growth and quality revenue within the team. As a Sales Manager, you will be accountable for proactive lead generation, qualification, negotiation and closing sales. Other responsibilities will include communicating with customers on a regular basis, learning and retaining specific product/brand/equipment information that will be essential to this position based on the number of individual items and brands distributed by Universal Companies.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
- Process customer orders via defined channels
- Proactively prospect new accounts
- Hands-on account management
- Maintain/update SalesForce dashboards data and strategies
- Identify and cultivate quality leads and nurture them from new and existing customers
- Properly utilize channels and procedures to ensure accuracy with all transactions
- Actively participate in on-going training/education to learn and retain product and brand information
- Assist customers with selection of product and services as well as new sales and opportunities
- Ease of presenting programs and products to client base
- Maintain existing customer database with accurate and up-to-date information
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
- Ability to work in a fast-paced remote environment
- Strong problem solving abilities
- Technical knowledge or ability to learn company systems and current sales tools
- Demonstrated time management and organizational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to manage and prioritize activities, multi-task, and follow tasks to completion
- Excellent interpersonal and oral/written communication skills
- Aptitude and excitement to learn
- Excellent computer skills; Microsoft Office, Outlook, Excel, SalesForce
- Outgoing personality is a plus
Education/Experience
- Two or more years of customer service preferably in the beauty and wellness industry
- Understanding of salon and spa industry with a vast knowledge of products and services
- College degree and or licensed in the wellness and beauty industry
- Previous B2B sales management experience
- Position will require some travel for tradeshows, customer meetings, trainings and events
