Key Responsibilities:
- Perform Diagnostic MRI Scans: Operate MRI equipment to capture high-quality diagnostic images following established protocols.
- Patient Preparation: Educate patients about the MRI process, answer questions, and ensure they are calm and comfortable throughout the procedure.
- Maintain Safety Standards: Adhere to safety protocols to protect patients and staff, including proper screening for contraindications like metal implants.
- Collaborate with Healthcare Team: Work closely with radiologists and other medical professionals to ensure accurate diagnosis and patient care.
- Accurate Documentation: Record patient information, scan results, and any observations meticulously in medical records.
- Equipment Maintenance: Ensure MRI equipment is clean, functional, and ready for use, reporting any issues promptly.
- Provide Compassionate Care: Offer emotional support to patients, especially those feeling anxious or claustrophobic.
Qualifications:
- Active ARRT Certification in MRI Technology (or equivalent).
- State Licensure: Valid Ohio licensure (if applicable).
- Experience: 2 years of experience as an MRI Technologist preferred.
- Certifications: BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.
- Tech-Savvy & Detail-Oriented: You know your way around MRI machines and prioritize precision.
