Qualifications
Qualifications:
* CHPA required within 1 year of employment, CPP credential preferred
* 7 years security experience; 3-5 years of experience in a hospital setting
* 5 years' experience at the department management level
* Security contracting experience preferred
* Proven ability to develop and implement comprehensive safety and security policies and procedures to protect patients, staff, visitors, and property
* Ability to manage security technology systems, including surveillance cameras, access control systems, and alarm systems
* Proven experience leading and managing diverse workforce
Education:
* AA or Bachelor's degree preferred
Skills:
* Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
* Effective interpersonal skills
* Ability to maintain confidentiality
* Ability to adapt to multiple changing priorities
* Ability to provide care that is respectful of and responsive to the patient values in clinical decision making
