**Position Summary**

This is a retail position; whose primary responsibility is to provide financial solutions to improve the lives of our members. This includes the ability to identify a members financial needs and provide the best financial solutions for them. The USR will interact with members face-to-face and by telephone, providing exceptional member experiences.

**Essential Functions Include:**

* Conducting consumer loan, mortgage and home equity interviews, completing application and gathering documents needed to process, close and fund loans.

* Process new account and loan documents from start to finish meeting quality control standards.

* Open and Close all types of accounts.

* Taking ownership of member issues through research and follow-up until resolution.

* Make outbound calls to proactively meet member financial needs.

* Assist with guidance and training of USR I role.

* May be required to assist in Teller role as needed.

* Meet or Exceed Sales Goals involving making recommendations and cross selling products and services to include core account products, checking, money market, certificates, loan products, E-services, referrals, etc. to enhance and deepen member engagement.

* Build and maintain professional relationships with Members through a bond of mutually beneficial benefit. Measured through continued growth and retention of loans and deposits and acquisition of new member relationships. Ultimate goal of becoming the Members PFI (Primary Financial Institution).

* Engage in Member interactions while processing quality member transactions. Proactively develop relationships to become Members PFI (Primary Financial Institution) and provide exceptional follow-up.

**Required Competencies:**

**Required Education and Experience:**

* High School Diploma or G.E.D.

* Previous experience as a Service Representative in a financial institution required.

* Previous experience in consumer lending required.

* Familiarity with Symitar, Evolve and Opening Act a plus

**Additional Skills**

* Dedicated to Excellent Member Engagement and Service.

* Proficient in consumer and home equity loans.

* Excellent verbal and written communication skills

* Ability to maintain confidentiality

* Must be a Notary or be willing to become one upon employment.

* Must be willing to work Saturdays on a rotating basis (at various branches in the Tampa market).

* Must demonstrate a functional knowledge of the Bank Secrecy Act in addition to other Federal laws, including but not limited to U.S. Patriot Act, Office of Foreign Assets & Control, Anti-Money Laundering, Right to Financial Privacy Act, and the Bank Bribery Act.

**Work Environment:**

This job operates in an office setting and routinely uses standard office equipment. This position may require minimal travelling to neighboring branches for coverage and training.

**Physical Requirements:**

Sitting frequently, walking occasionally, use of hands frequently, walking occasionally, use of hands frequently, hearing constantly, talking frequently, exerting up to 10lbs of force occasionally to life, carry, push, pull, or move objects.
