POSITION SUMMARY/RESPONSIBILITIES
Reporting to the Vice President, Implementation Project Manager, the Executive Director is responsible for planning, executing, and evaluating designated projects based upon budgets and timelines that have been determined by management and other project-specific requirements. This position is expected to provide an additional level of coordination and communication, overseeing implementation of an application, application area, or specialized team as outlined in the project specifications. Must maintain a good working relationship with colleagues and other UH staff and perform other duties as assigned or defined.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
A Bachelor's degree is required, and a Master's degree in IS or business is preferred. A PMI certification and experience in IT or healthcare is highly preferred. Must have experience managing projects in which the team members do not report to the project manager and must have worked in a team-oriented environment. Certification in Epic applications is desired. Will be required to successfully pass the Epic pre-assessment testing.
