What are the responsibilities and job description for the Compensation Manager position at University Health System- San Antonio?
POSITION SUMMARY/RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for the administration of all University Health System pay plans and supporting development activities including job description design, job evaluation, market pricing of pay ranges and differentials, merit systems, promotion systems, etc. Under the direction of the Executive Director, Human Resources, this position is responsible for maintaining pay systems that are fair, equitable, competitive and fiscally responsible. Responsible for plan expense projections. Serves as a resource for HRIS to include customized reporting for Human Resources and Health System department needs.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field required. Two or more years of experience in the administration and design of compensation is preferred. Two or more years of HRIS systems experience is preferred. Comprehensive knowledge of applicable laws and regulations and general management is required. Experience in the development and execution of computer based analysis and reporting is required.
