Summary of Job Duties :

We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Director of High School Relations who brings a wealth of experience in coaching and able to manage our high school relations. The position is responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with high school coaches, guidance counselors and administrators to support the program’s recruiting efforts. This position plays a vital role in enhancing the football program’s visibility by coordinating visits to campus to showcase our university. The Director works closely with the coaching staff to identify and evaluate the recruits while ensuring compliance with NCAA and conference regulations. Strong communication, networking, and organizational skills are essential to fostering positive relationships and promoting the program’s brand at the high school level.

Regular, reliable and non-disruptive attendance is an essential job duty, as is the ability to create and maintain collegial, harmonious working relationships with others.

Qualifications :

Minimum Qualifications :

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution of higher learning

At least 12 years of high school football Head Coaching with a demonstrated ability to lead and develop student-athletes

Preferred Qualifications :

Has coordinated events such as summer camps, leadership summits, or recruitment showcases

Experience working closely with admissions, athletics, and academic departments

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities :

Knowledge of recruiting software

Knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations

Knowledge of Intercollegiate Athletics as it relates to recruiting

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, parents, and staff

Strong organizational and administrative skills

Ability to Multitask in a fast-paced environment

Ability to inspire and motivate a diverse group of students and coaches
