The Mathematics Department in the College of Natural Sciences at the University of Hawai'i at Manoa (UHM) invites applications for a temporary, full-time (9-month) non-tenure track Assistant Professor with a interest in Mathematics to begin approximately August 1, 2025. Duties and Responsibilities:
- Conduct assigned courses or seminars
- Conduct research or undertake comparable scholarly activity
- Serve on departmental committees
- Perform other tasks and/or duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications:
- Ph.D. in Mathematics or related field from a college or university of recognized standing
- Demonstrated research and scholarly achievement
- Demonstrated ability as a teacher
- Professionalism in meeting and conferring with others
Desirable Qualifications:
- Research agenda that synergizes with existing research in the department
