Key Roles and Responsibilities :
Full-time clinical practice in the Orthopedic Surgery sub-specialty area of Adult Reconstruction
Participation in the advancement and education of medical students, orthopedic surgery residents, and fellows. Specifically, in adult reconstruction patient care management and academic research
Equitable participation in the general orthopedic call schedule
Active participant in the Adult Reconstruction Orthopedic sub-division.
Participation in orthopedic departmental and faculty meetings or other assigned committees or initiatives as assigned by the Chair, important to either Orthopedic Surgery, the service line, or sub-specialty area of training.
Required Qualifications :
Education / Certification :
Board Certified or Board Eligible MD or DO from an accredited University.
Orthopedic Surgery Residency completion from an ACGME accredited training program.
Fellowship training in the sub-specialty area of Adult Reconstruction.
Work Experience :
Training or practice in the area of Adult Reconstruction.
Experience with clinical and research-related aspects of total joint reconstruction in adults.
Surgical treatment, both open and robotic, in joint replacement surgery.
Preferred Qualifications :
Education / Certification :
Robotic certification with Zimmer Biomet, Globus, Medtronic or other Orthopedic focused robotic therapy. Practical experience may be substituted in lieu of certification.
Work Experience :
One to three (1-3) Year's practice experience with surgical interventions in an ambulatory environment or ambulatory surgery center.
Experience with joint program development including preservation options.
Academic and research initiatives in outcomes-based protocol.
