The Department of Psychology at the University of New Haven invites applications for an Assistant Professor (Tenure Track) beginning in the Fall 2025 semester.
You will:
- Teach core undergraduate and graduate courses on psychology and law as well as other core psychology courses such as Introduction to Psychology, Theories of Personality, Research Methods and Forensic Treatment Models.
- Advise undergraduate student
You need:
- An earned PhD or Psy.D. degree in Psychology with a specialization in the broad areas of psychology and law is recommended (ABD will be considered).
- To be a dynamic instructor and able to teach face-to-face, online, and hybrid modalities.
- Evidence of an active research agenda is required; student inclusion in research is highly encouraged.
- Experience in leading thesis or research projects is beneficial.
- A commitment to serving culturally, ethnically, and linguistically diverse communities is expected.
