- Cover letter that includes a personal teaching statement.
- Names/contact information for three references which include the Bharatanatyam School where the applicant graduated from. Letter from the college dance team faculty mentor or the college if possible, and links to YouTube videos of two recent performances choreographed by the applicant.

Required Qualifications
- College graduate with baccalaureate or higher degree.
- Graduated in Bharatanatyam (Arangetram certificate or plaque).
- Demonstrated record of excellence in teaching Bharatanatyam.
- Internship certificate following the Arangetram, or experience in teaching with an established teacher in a Bharatanatyam School.
- Letter from the school giving details of training.
Preferred Qualifications
- Training in Carnatic music. Resume describing experience in running a Bharatanatyam school, service on arts organization boards.
