Position Description
| Primary Purpose and Essential Functions | The University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law (McGeorge), invites applications for a full-time faculty position in the Public Policy Program. The Program offers both the Master of Public Administration (MPA) and Master of Public Policy (MPP) degrees. Founded in 2016, it is the first program in the nation to offer these degrees within an ABA accredited law school. This faculty position will be expected to teach four (4) core areas of competency in the MPA/MPP curriculum:
Other responsibilities include advise students on academic and career development. Service to support the program such as participation in orientation and recruitment events, promotion of the Public Policy program, participation in events/symposia to enhance the reputation of the law school. Maintain research and/or consulting programs in public policy or administration. Engage in professional development including presenting and attending conferences, writing, and other activities that will enhance the Public Policy program and McGeorge School of Law.
