We're hiring a Collateral Control Supervisor to join our Souderton based Loan Operations Team.
Responsibilities
Manage the Collateral Control area, including employee reviews, backup, and training, problem solving
Oversight of the collateral tracking system in Jack Henry and LQAS
Coordinate recording, continuation, and release of collateral documents (mortgages, UCC filings and titles) with county or state, collateral exception reports and closed loan activities
Evaluate processes and procedures and implement improvements/ modifications as necessary
Coordinate loan verification processes
Accountable for compliance with laws and regulations that apply to this position including the Univest Code of Conduct.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree with 5 years related bank experience or equivalent related education and experience.
Excellent customer service, written/verbal communication, problems solving and telephone skills
Strong initiative and coaching skills; ability to motivate and develop employees
Comprehensive understanding of commercial/consumer credit
Comprehensive understanding of loan accounting computations, bank accounting practices and bank operations
Proficiency in loan documentation and securing collateral interests
Ability to work independently, organize, prioritize, and meet deadlines
Proficient with PC, Word, Excel, Synergy, LQAS
Wage Range
The salary for this position ranges from $50,000 to $60,000
