Piece rate is dependent on your ability to work efficient and safe. The more you produce the greater ability to make an excellent wage. If you are self-driven, competitive, goal oriented and can work hard, this is a job for you. Work hours are based off quota, most piece rate employees work 32-36 hours per week.
- Build and repair pallets
- Inspect and sort wooden pallets accurately and efficiently.
- Must be able to use a nail gun and power hand saw
- Requires constant standing, bending, stooping, walking, and the ability to lift and handle material with weights up to 75 pounds or more frequently throughout the day.
- Requires the ability to do repetitive work, as well as comprehensive knowledge of general construction type repair methods, the proper utilization, and care of power tools, materials, and industrial machinery.
- Broad knowledge of warehouse operations.
- Pay: The hourly is $18.50 hour while training and then you convert to piece rate @ .61 a pallet. (Average wage is $25.00 an hour).
- Shift: Monday - Friday 7:00 AM - 3:30P M, or until quota is met.

High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required for extended periods of time to stand, walk, sit and use hands to manipulate, handle or feel objects, tools, controls and office equipment. The employee frequently is required to talk and hear. The employee is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms and stoop, kneel or crouch (by bending body downward and forward by bending leg and spine), maintain body equilibrium to prevent falling. The employee may be required to pull (using upper extremities to exert force in order to haul or tug objects in a sustained motion) or remove inventory from shelves, lift up to 50 pounds (group lift up to 70 pounds), raise objects from lower to a higher position or move objects horizontally from position-to-position, climb ladders and use forklift machines. Must wear goggles, gloves and vest when required.
