Overview
We are seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating a forklift to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate various types of forklifts including sit-down, stand-up, cherry picker, and clamp truck
- Load and unload materials from trucks and trailers
- Use RF scanners to ensure accurate inventory management
- Perform order picking and build pallets with orders
- Inspect forklifts before and after use and perform basic maintenance
- Adhere to OSHA standards and company safety guidelines
- Utilize pallet jacks and cranes as needed
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a forklift operator or similar role
- Valid forklift certification or willingness to obtain one
- Proficient in operating a variety of forklifts including cherry pickers and clamp trucks
- Familiarity with warehouse operations and procedures
- Ability to lift heavy objects and work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in inventory management
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $16.91 - $19.00 per hour
