Upwork is Hiring a Remote Affiliate Marketing Manager
Overview
Upwork has partnered with the first hourly workforce-as-a-service provider: combining W-2 labor, a workforce management platform, and data analytics for workplaces who have hourly workers and fluctuating demand.As a growing organization, they are in need of Affiliate Marketing Manager who will be responsible in launching the new affiliate channel, with the goal of driving quality new worker sign-ups and app downloads. This marketer will support the execution of an existing strategy but will be capable of independently identifying prospective affiliate partners, pitching our program, and onboarding partners that align with our goals.
Responsibilities
- Identify prospective affiliate partners based on independent research and prior experience- Conduct initial partner outreach and pitch our program. Bluecrew will support with materials and scripts and/or attend pitch meetings as needed (to be defined based on the candidate’s experience)- Assist in onboarding new partners to the program and affiliate platform and with some day to day troubleshooting (we expect to have a relatively small network of partners at the onset)- Monitor and report on partner status and activation- Make recommendations for partner commissions and program structure based on prior affiliate experience
Qualifications
- 4 years managing an affiliate marketing program- Actively managed affiliate programs for a service (vs. exclusively e-comm retail programs)- Experience with affiliate platforms like Commission Junction (CJ), Impact Radius, etc.- Strong communication skills, with experience independently sourcing and onboarding affiliate partners- Effective time management- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills- Self-starter, ability to operate independently with minimal supervision- Track record of delivering results
