Role Description
This is a contract role for a React Native Developer at Urban Emu, located in Manasquan, NJ, with the flexibility for remote work. As a React Native Developer, you will be responsible for the day-to-day tasks associated with developing and maintaining mobile applications using React Native. This includes collaborating with cross-functional teams, implementing new features, debugging and fixing issues, and ensuring the performance, quality, and responsiveness of the applications.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in React Native, JavaScript, and TypeScript
- Experience with mobile app development and RESTful APIs
- Understanding of UI/UX principles and ability to translate designs into high-quality code
- Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git)
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of projects
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- Previous experience with hybrid app development is a plus
- Experience with additional frameworks and libraries like Redux, React, or Angular is a plus
