Accountant III-Lead

Summary of Responsibilities

Under limited supervision, the Accountant will support the finance department in managing asset transactions, capital expenditure proposals (CEP), and financial forecasting for projects related to COO. This role is critical in ensuring the accurate tracking of asset movements, including disposals, additions to assets, and transfers into service. The role will also support budget and latest estimate processes, and facilitate audits (internal/external). The role will collaborate with various teams to ensure compliance with financial policies and regulations, and play a key role in managing forecasts and annual budgets .

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• CPA or equivalent professional certification.
• 6 years of experience in financial accounting, projects, or asset management
• Advanced Technical Skills i.e. Excel

• Master’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 10 years of relevant experience with demonstrated expertise in project accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and asset management.
• Experience in managing capital projects and preparing CEPs in accordance with company policies.

• Work Schedule: Professional work schedule with occasional nights or weekends required. Employees may be subject to call-outs as needed. The work location for this position is Urenco USA, Eunice, NM with hybrid work as a possibility.
• Security Clearance: Must be eligible for Controlled Access Area (CAA) and an L or Q-level security clearance.
• Work Environment: Primarily office-based, with occasional exposure to production areas.
• Relocation Assistance: Available.
• Travel Requirements: Up to 25% as necessary.

Compensation starting at: $108808 - $146169 / year and up dependent on candidate.
