The Electrician will perform and/or direct various Electrical installations and preventive maintenance and repairs at a client’s site. This will include hands-on work to complete the necessary work within all JLL and client standards and guidelines Primary Responsibilities: Maintain and repair main electrical services, distribution services, and panels. Repair and replace all facility lighting and maintain it. Preventative maintenance of emergency electrical power systems when licensed to do so. Perform weekly and monthly preventative maintenance assignments. Complete work orders as assigned. Supervise 07 trainees throughout the campus. Ensure electrical installations are installed and maintained in accordance with NEC, IEEE, NFPA and Washington LNI. Maintain electrical diagnostic tools and equipment in safe operating condition. Maintain hot stick and other equipment in safe operating condition. Work overtime as needed by the department. Work flexible hours as business needs require. Communicate in an effective, timely, and appropriate manner to all associates (i.e. peers, support teams and management) including escalating issues. Comply with all local, state, federal, and client safety regulations, policies, and procedures. Comply with all local client quality policies, procedures, and practices through consistent application of sound quality assurance principles. Perform electrical troubleshooting and repair duties such as but not limited to installed equipment and machinery including motors, starters, large and small pipe, air handler units, VFD's, transformers. Repair and replace wiring, equipment and fixtures Assemble, install, test or maintain electrical or electronic wiring equipment Perform business management duties Place conduits, pipes or tubing inside designated walls or other concealed areas Advise management on whether operation of equipment could be hazardous Skills/Qualifications: High school diploma / GED Washington 01 or 07 license required Ability to interpret drawings and specifications Effective written and oral communications skills Basic computer skills Experience with medium voltage substation and equipment is a plus Experience with all types of electrician’s hand tools and power tools, drill motors, saws, roto hammer, etc. Willing to train in safe electrical work practices A minimum of three years electrical experience Job duties may require standing, kneeling, crawling, bending, use of hands, fingers, arms to install, repair and maintain electrical systems and equipment. Knowledge of mechanical systems and operation of production utility support equipment is a plus Estimated compensation for this position is: 76,500.00 – 103,500.00 USD The salary listed is an estimate and not guaranteed.
