The People Operations Generalist is responsible for managing key People Operations functions, including recruitment, onboarding, employee integration, and document maintenance. This role ensures a seamless hiring process, from sourcing and offer management to new hire integration, delivering a positive employee experience. You will track and analyze People Operations metrics, support compliance and documentation, process employee changes and provide general HR support to enhance organizational efficiency and employee satisfaction.
Recruitment and Offer Management
- Manage end-to-end recruitment, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and the offer process.
- Manage the ATS from job posting to offer and closure.
- Develop and execute strategic sourcing plans for hard to fill positions.
- Extend, negotiate, and finalize job offers.
- Oversee Contracting firm relationships, contractor agreements and process conversions.
- Report weekly on current openings and their status.
- Onboarding and New Hire Integration
- Conduct preboarding activities, including background checks, paperwork processing, and IT setup coordination.
- Maintain and update onboarding materials, presentations, and process documentation.
- Facilitate new hire orientation sessions and ensure all necessary training is completed.
- Own and facilitate the 30/60/90-day onboarding process, ensuring new hires receive the necessary tools and support.
- Identify and implement improvements to onboarding and integration processes.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for new hires during their first 90 days.
Employee Experience and Retention
- Monitor early-stage engagement and satisfaction, escalating concerns to improve retention.
- Track and report on 30/60/90-day performance, integration, and cultural alignment.
- Identify trends and recommend improvement in the new hire experience.
People Operations Data: Metrics and Reporting
- Track and analyze key hiring and onboarding metrics, including time-to-fill, source effectiveness, and retention rates.
- Generate reports and insights to support data-driven decision-making.
- Ensure compliance with employment laws, internal policies, and hiring best practices.
General People Operations Support
- Maintain organized personnel records, including employment contracts and employee files.
- Update internal documentation to reflect business and process changes.
- Create and refine templates and documentation to streamline processes.
- Assist with payroll data collection, entry and processing.
- Maintain process documentation to ensure consistency and compliance.
Qualifications
- 3-5 years of experience in HR, Talent Acquisition, or Employee Integration.
- 2 years of experience in full-cycle recruiting, preferably in IT or corporate environments.
- Strong knowledge of employment laws, onboarding best practices, and HR compliance.
- High level of attention to detail.
- Experience with HRIS and ATS platforms (Recruitee, BambooHR, or similar).
- DocuSign Administrator Experience.
- Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Highly organized with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
