What are the responsibilities and job description for the CT Tech Assistant position at US Heart and Vascular?
US Heart and Vascular is in need of a temporary CT Tech Assistant to join our team at Pima Heart and Vascular in Tucson, AZ.
Responsibilities and Duties :
- Prepare patients for CT exam
- Interview patient prior to CT exam and provide accurate documentation for technologist
- Provide patient education for scheduled exams
- Assist technologists with getting patients on and off the exam table
- Assist with changing exam table for each CT exam
- Assist with maintaining cleanliness of exam room
- Assist with stocking of CT exam room
- Assist with entering patient information into computer.
- Ensure that all reports and chart forms are scanned or filed into patient records.
- Maintains safety, environmental and infection control policies and procedures for department.
- Follows and enforces Pima Heart & Vascular policies and procedures.
