What are the responsibilities and job description for the Mechanic position at Valiant Energy Service?
Valiant Energy Service is seeking a Mechanic
Duties:
- Generating repair orders.
- Order parts, tracking parts inventory
- Documentation of PM reports & equipment repair logs.
- Track expenses
- Respond to and resolves various complaints and/or issues with operations
- Repairs of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and diesel systems
- Air brake repairs.
- Chassis repairs.
- Repair of construction type fleet equipment and vehicles.
- Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
- Must be able to work with minimum supervision.
Qualifications:
- Requires experience repairing diesel engines and hydraulic systems
- Requires experience repairing air brakes; certification is preferred but not required
- Requires experience in HV/AC
- Aerial device experience a plus
- Must have at least 5 years’ experience working as Mechanic
- Class" B" CDL required “A” Preferred
- Must be able to travel to other work sites. Work truck will be provide Travel 30% away from home.
- Working knowledge of FMCSA requirements and regulations or willing to learn.
- Must be willing to work overtime, in inclement weather and weekends when needed.
