Job Description
Valiant Harbor International is seeking a Senior Program Analyst (Deputy Program Manager) to provide leadership and expertise in financial planning and analysis for a high-visibility government program at the Office of Naval Research (ONR). This role requires in-depth knowledge of government financial systems, budget cycles, and reporting, along with strong experience in tracking technical and financial milestones. The successful candidate will oversee financial processes, work with cross-functional teams, and train junior analysts to ensure the program's financial goals are met in compliance with government standards.
Job Responsibilities
- Lead and manage financial analysis and reporting activities for the program, ensuring accuracy and compliance with government financial and budget cycles.
- Oversee the tracking of technical and financial milestones, ensuring the timely and accurate completion of program objectives.
- Manage the program's financial processes, including planning, forecasting, budgeting, funding execution, performance monitoring, and reporting against commitment, obligation, and expenditure benchmarks.
- Provide training and mentorship to junior financial analysts, fostering skill development and process improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure financial data and reports are accurate and aligned with program goals.
- Work directly with government stakeholders to review and analyze financial information and provide support on financial matters as needed.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant financial processes and government regulations, and provide insights into financial performance.
- This position is contingent upon contract award
