What are the responsibilities and job description for the Adult Outpatient Clinician position at Valley Community Services Board?
Valley Community Services Board is seeking licensed, or licensed-eligible clinicians to provide behavioral health and substance use services to adults and their families in individual and group settings.

Summary of Essential Functions:
- Provides individual, family, and group counseling services for individuals experiencing mental health and substance use challenges, including individuals with co-occurring disorder.
- Provides crisis stabilization and emergency services as needed.
- Conducts mental health and substance abuse evaluations, including the evaluation of treatment needs, and develops treatment plans.
- Administers the DLA-20 and other instruments as needed.
- Works collaboratively with teammates and external partners to provide a range of treatments and support services.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in social work or related field from an accredited program.
- LMHP supervisee or resident in the Commonwealth of Virginia.
- This position requires a Valid Virginia Driver's License that is in good standing. Preferred Qualifications
- Current LCSW, LPC, LSATP, or CSAC certification in the Commonwealth of Virginia.
