Housekeeper & Laundry Aide
We are looking for a Housekeeper / Laundry Aide!

Purpose : The primary purpose of this position is to perform the day-to-day activities of houskeeping and of the laundry department as directed by the Houskeeping supervisor to assure that the facility is maintained in a clean, safe and comfortable manner and that an adequate supply of linen is on hand at all times to meet the needs of the residents.
Hours : Part Time
Wage : $11.50-$13.00 Wage is based on experience.
Education : Highschool diploma or equivalent
Responsibilities :
- Perform specific tasks in accordance with daily work assignments; document as required by facility policies.
- Coordinate daily housekeeping & laundry services with nursing services when performing routine assignments in resident living or recreational areas.
- Label or mark personal articles of clothing for laundry and prepare linen.
- Collect, sort, wash soiled laundry, linen and garments. Fold, count, stack, hang and distribute clean laundry, linen and garments to residents daily.
- Clean and disinfect equipment and supplies.
- Clean rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms and other work areas.
