Valley Vista is seeking a motivated Facilities Assistent for our inpatient rehabilitation facility in Vergennes VT. This candidate should be a self-starter and have knowledge of building and equipment maintenance and repair
Job Duties:
- Oversees building and grounds maintenance.
- Completing facility walkthroughs
- Operates and maintains custodial functions.
- Ensures security and emergency preparedness procedures are implemented properly.
- Ensures that the facility is clean and maintained according to company policy and procedures.
- Delivering reorder requests to the Facilities Manager as needed
- Recommends maintenance, mechanical, electrical, and facility design modifications.
- Communicates workplace safety precautions to employees.
Job Requirements:
- Valid driver's license
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proficiency in maintenance and industrial maintenance
- Valid driver's license required for site visits and inspections
- Good physical stamina
- Ability to work alone
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
