About this role:
The Customer Service Representative I will provide customer support and information in response to inquiries about products and services and to handle and resolve complaints.
Pay range, Status & Schedule:
- This is a non-exempt position working Monday thru Friday 7:30am to 4:15pm
- Full-Time -Monday - Friday 7:30 am to 4:15 pm
- Immediate opening, inbound calls - NO TELEMARKETING.
What you’ll do:
- Confer with customers by telephone or in person to provide information about products or services, take or enter orders, cancel accounts, and or obtain details of complaints.
- Check to ensure that appropriate changes were made to resolve customers’ problems.
- Keep records of customer interactions o transactions′ recording details of inquiries, complaints, or comments, as welI as actions taken.
- Refer unresolved customer grievances to designated departments for further investigation.
- Determine charges for services requested, correct deposits or payments, or arrange for billing.
- Maintenance of Desktop procedures.
- Authorize and ensure the validity of customer returns, exchanges, check authorizations, credit authorization and voids.
- Comply with established company policies.
- Help solve problems that affect the service′ efficiency and productivity of the customer service department.
- Assist customers in navigating the internet site.
- Other tasks as assigned to include but are not limited to: quotes, bids, cold calling for new business, order checking, assisting other departments, order entry.
What you’ll need:
- Knowledge of multi-line phone preferred
- Must possess excellent computer skills and be proficient using MS Office.
- Strong communication, organization and follow-through skills required.
