What are the responsibilities and job description for the Warehouse Associate position at Vapor Haus?
Vapor Haus Distribution is looking for a new warehouse associate to join the team. With our humble roots Vapor Haus is a retail chain with 12 stores scattered throughout the Dayton, Ohio region. Additionally Vapor Haus Distributes vape products to 100's of stores in the country.
We are looking for a results driven, self starter, and great attitude individual to join the team. Vapor Haus Distribution is a small team with big goals.
Responsibilities
- Achieve high levels of customer satisfaction through excellence in receiving, identifying, dispatching and assuring quality of goods
- Measure and report the effectiveness of warehousing activities
- Organize and maintain inventory and storage area
- Ensure shipments’ and inventory transactions’ accuracy
- Interface with customers to answer questions or solve problems
- Maintain items record, document necessary information and utilize reports to project warehouse status
- Identify areas of improvement and establish innovative or adjust existing work procedures and practices
- Ideal candidate should be able to comfortably lift 30lbs
- Must have a valid driver's license
- Must be comfortable with driving the company van to pick-up/drop-off product
Skills
- Knowledge of warehouse software packages and MS Office proficiency
- Ability to input, retrieve and analyze data
- Hands-on commitment to getting the job done
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $14.00 - $15.00 per hour
Expected hours: 24 – 32 per week
