As a Medical Assistant you will support doctors and patients through a variety of clinical and clerical tasks related to vascular examinations and treatments.

Responsibilities 

• Greeting and directing patients

•  Organize and schedule appointments

• Obtaining prior authorizations

• Insurance verifications

• Working out of various VCA clinic sites

• Travel with other medical professionals to patients homes

• Interview patients and document basic medical history

• Assist during medical examinations

• Provide educational materials to patients and families on vascular health and procedures

• Various other office duties, as needed

Certified Medical Assistant

Salary: $19.00 - $23.00 per hour
