What are the responsibilities and job description for the Veterinary technician position at VCA?
We are looking for a fun, energetic, fast paced learner to join our family at VCA Bakersfield Animal Hospital. We are a 24 hour emergency hospital that also operates for general practice needs.
We also offer boarding and grooming services to our community.
We are looking for a technician assistant to join the team. Duties and responsibilities include :
- Restraining
- Assisting in blood draws
- Assisting in radiographs
- Assisting with administering medications
- Assisting in administering vaccines
- Running lab work
- and much more
In this position, individuals are able to gather the basic knowledge and foundation that is expected when becoming a Veterinary Assistant.

Wage : $
Schedule : must be available nights and weekends
Shift differential pay for hours worked between 6p-6a.
