The Role

Veeva CRM is looking for an excellent technical writer who can write high-quality, usable documentation that enables our customers to use our applications successfully. If you enjoy solving puzzles and presenting complex, technical information in comprehensive, well-organized, and easy-to-understand documentation, this is the job for you!

What You'll Do

  • Take ownership of documentation for the CRM product. You’ll track the design and development process, and research to understand the high-level concepts and the small details to provide high-quality user documentation
  • Become a product expert and keep up with new features and functionality
  • Be aware of opportunities to improve the documentation process and deliverables. This includes working with product managers, support, and our service teams
  • Ensure content adheres to a consistent style, tone, and approach by following a style guide, reviewing existing documentation, and participating in peer reviews
Requirements
  • BA in English, communications, instructional design, or similar
  • Proven 4 years of software technical writing experience
  • Experience in software development
  • Excellent written communication and research skills
  • Ability to work independently in a dynamic environment as well as work within a team
  • Madcap Flare or similar authoring tool
  • Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Learning Management tools, and HATs
Nice to Have
  • Experience in a Life Science company
  • Experience composing, narrating, and editing video tutorials
  • Experience with Instructional Design
  • Experience with Jira and Confluence

Compensation
  • Base pay: $67,000 - $130,000  
  • The salary range listed here has been provided to comply with local regulations and represents a potential base salary range for this role. Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range above or below, depending on experience and location. We look at compensation for each individual and base our offer on your unique qualifications, experience, and expected contributions. This position may also be eligible for other types of compensation in addition to base salary, such as variable bonus and/or stock bonus.
