π Job Overview
We are looking for a detail-oriented Mechanical Quality Inspector to perform visual and dimensional inspections on manufactured parts, assemblies, and sub-assemblies. This role involves working with engineering drawings, purchase orders, and industry standards to verify compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
β Conduct inspections based on ANSI-Y-14.5 standards.
β Report accept/reject findings directly to customers via a web-based platform.
β Ensure compliance with First Article Inspection (FAI) and Flight Safety Product requirements.
β Aerospace experience is a must! We need professionals with backgrounds in aircraft manufacturing, detail fabrication, or machined parts inspection.
Qualifications & Requirements
β 6 years of hands-on aerospace industry experience in product verification & supplier surveillance.
β Strong ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings & specifications (ANSI-Y-14.5).
β Extensive knowledge across multiple aircraft commodities, including:
- Structures, Mechanical Assemblies, Precision Machined Parts, Sheet Metal Parts
- Fasteners, Castings & Forgings, Engines, Hydraulics, Electrical Components
- Avionics, Raw Materials, Special Processes (Welding, Coatings, NDT, Heat Treat, Bonding, Painting)
β Familiarity with Digital Data interpretation (no programming required).
β Strong English communication skills (reading, writing, and speaking).
Must have:
- Personal computer with email & internet access.
- Ability to pass the Basic Mechanical Test (score of 84% ).
- Must be a US citizen
- Must own or be able to obtain an LLC/DBA

Final onboarding/training will take place onsite in Red Oak, TX.
