Maintenance

The Maintenance Worker will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs on equipment, machinery, and facilities to ensure optimal function and safety. The ideal candidate will have experience in a manufacturing environment and possess strong problem-solving skills.

Essential Functions

• Perform general facility cleaning, including break and restrooms
• Clean and maintain manufacturing floors using company sweeper
• Conduct regular inspections of machinery, equipment, and systems to identify and resolve issues.
• Perform preventive maintenance on production equipment to minimize downtime and extend equipment life.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
• Collaborate with production teams to schedule maintenance tasks without disrupting operations.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, inspections, and repairs.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
• Assist in the installation and commissioning of new equipment.
• Manage inventory of maintenance supplies and tools, and order replacements as needed.
• Respond promptly to emergency maintenance requests to minimize production interruptions.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment reliability and efficiency.
• Be able to redirect effort immediately on to a different task as requested
• Other duties and requirements may be assigned

Education and/or Work Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training in maintenance or a related field is preferred
• Experience as a maintenance worker in a manufacturing environment, preferably in steel fabrication
