Job Overview:
The Social Media Coordinator will play a key role in expanding our brand’s presence across social media platforms. This person will develop, curate, and manage content that reflects our company’s values, showcases our work, and engages both current and potential customers. The ideal candidate will be a social media enthusiast with a passion for visual storytelling and community engagement. Experience in the roofing industry or construction-related fields is a plus, but not required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Content Creation & Curation: Develop and execute a content calendar to promote our roofing services, highlight completed projects, and engage with our local beach community. Content will include text, images, videos, and customer testimonials.
- Social Media Strategy: Create and implement social media strategies that increase brand awareness, customer engagement, and lead generation. Focus on platforms like Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, and YouTube.
- Community Engagement: Respond to comments, messages, and reviews on social media platforms in a timely and professional manner. Engage with local businesses, influencers, and community groups to promote partnerships and brand awareness.
- Campaign Management: Plan and execute paid social media campaigns to generate leads, promote seasonal promotions, and showcase services like roof inspections, repairs, and new installations.
- Visual Storytelling: Capture and create visually appealing content that showcases the aesthetic appeal of completed roofing projects, especially in beachside properties. Ensure the brand’s image is reflected consistently in all posts.
- Analytics & Reporting: Track and analyze social media performance using platforms’ native tools and third-party apps. Provide regular reports on campaign performance, engagement metrics, and overall growth. Suggest improvements based on insights.
- Brand Consistency: Maintain brand voice and consistency across all social media channels, aligning with the company’s values of professionalism, quality, and community focus.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the sales and marketing team to align social media efforts with overall company goals. Collaborate with designers, photographers, and other content creators as needed.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum 1-2 years of experience in social media management, content creation, or digital marketing (experience in the construction or home improvement industry is a plus).
- Skills:
- Strong proficiency in social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, etc.)
- Proficient in social media management and analytics tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer, Google Analytics, Facebook Insights).
- Basic graphic design skills (experience with tools like Canva, Adobe Spark, or Photoshop is a plus).
- Photography and/or videography skills and editing skills to capture high-quality images of roofing projects.
- Creativity: Ability to create engaging, on-brand content that resonates with our target audience (homeowners, business owners, beachside residents, etc.).
- Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to adapt tone and style to suit different platforms and audiences.
- Attention to Detail: High attention to detail in managing content and ensuring accuracy in all posts and interactions.
