Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and results driven Inside Sales Representative to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the sales process from quote creation to deal closure, utilizing HubSpot (CRM) to track and manage sales activities, and proactively soliciting clients on deals and opportunities. This role will play a crucial part in driving revenue growth and maintaining customer relationships. The ideal candidate will be motivated, customer-focused and possess a high level of attention to detail and adaptability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales & Lead Generation:
- Engage with existing and potential customers via phone, email, chat and online meetings to promote Vetamac’s products and services.
- Identify and qualify new sales opportunities by understanding customer needs and offering tailored solutions.
- Proactively solicit clients on deals and opportunities, leveraging a consultative selling approach to understand client needs and recommend appropriate solutions.
- Meet and exceed monthly, quarterly and yearly sales goals.
- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve sales targets and objectives, in alignment with company goals and priorities.
- Customer Relationship Management:
- Create and maintain strong relationships with clients and prospects to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Follow-up on leads generated by marketing campaigns, service technicians, referrals, online submissions and outreach efforts in a timely manner, addressing any questions or objections and working towards closing deals.
- Uphold the company's values and brand image, consistently delivering exceptional customer service and professionalism in all interactions.
- Handle customer complaints and resolve their issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Product Knowledge & Training:
- Develop in-depth knowledge of Vetamac’s product offerings, including anesthesia machines, ventilators, dental units, tables and accessories to effectively communicate value propositions.
- Develop an in-depth understanding of Vetamac’s service offerings to identify opportunities for additional revenue.
- Stay informed on industry trends and competitor activities to provide customers with expert insights and solutions.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to identify new sales opportunities and potential areas for business growth.
- Order Processing & Support:
- Assist customers with the purchase process, from initial inquiry through order placement and delivery coordination.
- Work closely with the technical and customer support teams to resolve any post-sale issues or concerns.
- Reporting & CRM Management:
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, sales activities, and opportunities in HubSpot (CRM).
- Provide regular reports and updates on sales performance, pipeline activity, and key metrics to sales management and other stakeholders.
- Keep HubSpot (CRM) up to date with relevant client information, sales activities, and deal progress, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
- Coordinate with Internal Departments:
- Collaborate closely with Vetamac’s service technicians to coordinate efforts and maximize sales opportunities.
- Provide support as needed to ensure successful deal closure, ensuring that technical and service aspects align with customer needs and expectations.
- Assist in identifying opportunities for cross-selling based on technician feedback and client interaction.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field preferred and/or Associate’s degree in Veterinary Technology or related field preferred.
- Animal Health experience and knowledge of veterinary medicine preferred.
- 2 years of experience in sales, preferably inside sales or customer service roles in a B2B or veterinary/medical equipment environment.
- Proven track record of success in sales or business development roles, with experience in prospecting and closing deals.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish trust with clients.
- Excellent negotiation and persuasion abilities, with a results-oriented mindset and a drive to exceed sales targets.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- A willingness to travel occasionally for trade shows, conferences and client meetings, as needed.
