Quality Assistant

Primary Function:

The Quality Assistant is a supporter for the Quality department that assists in daily activities not restricted to the ones listed below.

Key Responsibilities:

• Scanning and Filling of Quality related documents

• Process changes for Quality related documents

• Management of Controlled documents

• Work with other departments to obtain technical documentation from Verify that equipment logbooks have been completely and accurately filled out by Quality and the production associates at the beginning and end of packaging runs

• Report Quality non-conformances and Deviations to the Quality Lead and Management

• Ensure all documentation is reported utilizing cGMP / Good documentation practices and all applicable SOP as well as industry best practices.

• In charge of controlled logbooks issuance and reconciliation

• Maintain and reconcile controlled distributed copies

• Coordinate the storage of quality records with an outsourcing company.

• Other duties as assigned by management.

Skills & Knowledge Required:

• Associate degree in science related field preferred.

• Read, Write, Comprehend SOP, Master Batch records, Test procedures and other relevant technical documents in English.

• Bilingual: English and Spanish

• Perform Calculations

• High level of attention to detail

• Effective written and oral communication in English.

Pay: $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
