Responsibilities

  • Daily preventative maintenance schedule
  • Install, repair, and maintain all machinery such as conveyor systems, hydraulic equipment, pneumatic equipment, compressors and dryers
  • Routine checks of safety systems, alarm systems and facility mechanisms
  • Troubleshoot electrical and PLC issues on equipment
  • Conduct general facility upkeep procedures and tasks
  • Complete documentation on repairs and preventative maintenance as directed
  • Maintain and adhere to all company health & safety policies and procedures
  • Participate in continuous improvement projects and other related tasks as assigned
  • Work with maintenance shop spare parts program
  • Fabricate parts or source parts as needed
  • Perform routine housekeeping necessary to maintain cleanliness and safety of facility
  • Assist with machine start-ups and changeovers
  • Other duties as assigned

Required Experience

  • High School Diploma or GED and three or more years maintenance experience in an industrial manufacturing environment required: or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Excellent problem solving skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to multi-task
  • Computer literate with common knowledge of Excel, Outlook, Microsoft Word, and PowerPoint
  • Ability to perform tasks with limited supervision in a prompt, safe, efficient manner
  • Wiring single phase and three phase motors
  • Understanding and troubleshooting PLCs
  • Ability to read Electrical Schematics, European and US
  • Clear understanding of the fundamentals of milli amps to 480-volt systems
  • Ability to interpret NEC book
  • Knowledge of Hydraulics, pneumatics, PLCs, drives, various sensors and switches, fans and blowers,
  • Applicable working knowledge of tools, power tools, and common devices

Preferred Experience

  • Certified Welder
  • Certified Maintenance Technician
  • Electrical Troubleshooting
  • Fabrication Experience
  • Pneumatics/Hydraulics Experience
  • CPR, Confined Space, NFPA – 70E Certifications

Hours/Shift/Benefits

  • 6:30 AM – 2:30 PM
  • Must be available for off-shift work and emergency call-ins as production demands
  • Weekend Flexibility - available for rotating on call schedule
