The Role
Village Capital, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization supporting diverse, seed-stage, impact-creating startups, is seeking a contractor to provide support to Village Capital’s Communications team. This role will contribute to building, shaping, and expanding Village Capital’s digital presence across its global markets.
The contractor will support planning, managing operations, and reporting on paid social media campaigns to increase our reach and engagement.
The contractor , on a freelance basis, is expected to support our paid social media strategy with the following deliverables :
- Paid social media ideation and content creation
- Develop and launch paid social campaigns on various platforms that adhere to the organization’s budget, brand, and standards.
- Stay current with social and paid media trends and communicate these developments to leadership and marketing teams.
- Collaborate with the Communications team to ensure strategic alignment across channels.
- Manage ad operations and reporting
- Conduct audience, placement, and platform research to inform paid social strategies.
- Set up, start, and monitor ad campaigns; analyze and optimize ads based on KPIs.
- Report on campaign metrics and provide actionable recommendations for improvement based on those reported findings.
Ideal Profile
The contractor should be experienced in paid social strategy and campaign management across various social platforms. The contractor should bring experience developing strategies and managing campaigns on paid social media (specifically LinkedIn and Meta).
The ideal contractor should be experienced in managing paid media campaigns with an emphasis on paid social; have experience with Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, LinkedIn advertising, and Meta Business Suite; experience with testing structures and deliverables based on performance; and have a thorough knowledge of major paid social platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn.
