Job Summary

This is a full-time position with scheduled hours Mon-Fri, 10:00am-6:30pm with some flexibility for Friday evenings to assist with transportation to and from local synagogue.

Candidate must be at least 25 years old with a minimum of one (1) years of CDL driving history (preferred).
A CDL license is preferred but not required.
Prior experience with driving a wheel chair bus or seniors clients is preferred.

· Must be CPR, AED, and First Aid certified at hire or within 30 days of beginning employment.

Job responsibilities include

• Schedules and provides safe, efficient, reliable, and courteous transportation service for on- and off-campus appointments, community activities and errands.
• Assists residents in and out of the vehicle while utilizing the wheelchair lift or stairs as necessary.
• Opens, closes, loads or unloads walkers and wheelchairs as needed.
• Ensures all residents are accounted for when leaving and returning to our facility.
• Operates and maintains vehicles while focusing on safety and customer service & satisfaction.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.50 per hour

Expected hours: 37.5 – 40 per week
