Villari Foods is currently seeking a (1)- 2nd shift Maintenance Team Lead to join our team in Warsaw, North Carolina. This position will be over TPC1 harvesting Plant.
At Villari Foods, the 2nd shift Maintenance Team Lead ensures maintenance and repair work is completely safe, effectively, and in a timely manner. Assists team members with technical issues or advanced problems with given assignments. Inspects work performed by team members. Tracks and logs workers time, materials, and other resources used for inventory purposes.
Job duties:
- Responsible for leading the Maintenance Department.
- Ensures maintenance and repair work is completed safely, effectively, and on time.
- Works with a maintenance supervisor to plan work priorities, obtain necessary
supplies, and assess skills needed to complete tasks.
- Completion of P.M.
- Oversees all new employee training and/or retrain team members as needed.
- LOTO issues.
- Maintain chemical levels.
- Tracks materials, and other resources used for inventory purposes or to complete
upcoming projects.
- Evaluate systems or facilities to determine maintenance or repairs that need to be
performed to keep the plant up and running.
- Assist with refrigeration issues.
- Rebuild equipment.
- Keep maintenance area clean and company grounds as needed.
- Performs other related duties as assigned
To qualify for this job, you must have:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment or related field preferred.
- At least 2-5 years of maintenance experience required.

- Extensive knowledge of building systems such as plumbing, electrical, and HVAC.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.
- Ability to identify issues and to determine repairs that are needed.
