Are you an experience in forklift driving and looking for a job where your attention to detail and experience can make a difference? Look no further! Villari Foods is currently seeking a Certified Forklift Operator to join our team in Warsaw, North Carolina.
At Villari Foods the Certified Forklift Operators' primary responsibility is to move pallets or combos of products for further processing, shipping, or storage. Forklift Operators need to have a general knowledge of product movement, and processing and storage areas of the plant. Must successfully complete company forklift operator training prior to using any motorized equipment.
Job duties:
- Observe and follow company safety rules, regulations, and GMP procedures.
- Alert the lead or supervisor if any damage occurs.
- Lift, stack, and unstack products and materials using diesel, electric, gas- or petrol-powered trucks equipped with fork attachments.
- Move raw materials and finished goods to assigned areas in the plant.
- Make sure goods are stored in the correct area of a warehouse so they may be located easily when picking and rotated periodically.
- Load transport vehicles, making sure loads are evenly and secured. Load according to plant and or customer specifications.
- Service and make minor adjustments to the forklift as needed.
- Keep a record of daily operations, product temperatures and or equipment as required.
- Must be trained in HACCP and SQF Protocol.
- Follow all appropriate GMP's for your assigned area.
- Preventing product waste is a key function of this position.
To qualify for this job, you must have:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Experience with motorized equipment, stand-up lifts preferred.
- Demonstrated experience and strong commitment to meeting internal customer requirements and continuous improvement objectives.

The employee is regularly required to sit/stand, reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee may be required to lift and/or move up to 50 lbs on an occasional basis.
