Position Overview:
The Janitorial Area Manager will oversee the daily operations of our cleaning teams in designated areas. You will be responsible for ensuring high standards of cleanliness, supervising staff, training new hires, and maintaining positive relationships with clients. This role requires a proactive leader who can effectively manage resources while promoting a culture of teamwork and accountability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and lead cleaning teams across multiple locations within the assigned area.
- Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards and maintain high cleanliness standards.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits of cleaning operations to ensure client satisfaction.
- Provide training and ongoing support to cleaning staff to ensure they perform at their best.
- Develop and implement efficient cleaning schedules and procedures.
- Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring all is maintained and replenished as needed.
- Foster positive client relationships and respond to client feedback or concerns in a timely manner.
- Maintain accurate records of staffing, supplies, and maintenance requests.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of leadership experience in a similar role.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Previous cleaning experience preferred but not required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality and excellence.
