What are the responsibilities and job description for the Billing Assistant position at VIP Logistics LLC?
VIP Logistics, LLC is a family-owned Van Carrier with offices in Michigan, Texas and Europe. We are currently looking for a Billing Assistant / Date-Entry Clerk to join our Team.
Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
· Organize, validate, and process incoming paperwork
· Create invoice packets and submit invoicing to customers through portals
· Resolve paperwork discrepancies with customers
· Maintain and enter data records into multiple Transportation Management Systems
· File legal transportation documents and records
· Assist the billing manager and billing director with admin tasks and projects
The successful candidate should possess the following:
· High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
· Proficient with basic computer programs including Excel and Word
· Ability to work well and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
· Strong communication skills
· Excellent punctuality and attendance
· Experience with transportation/logistics environment is helpful but not required
