Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced and reliable Airfreight Delivery Driver to transport goods to and from Pittsburgh airport and customer locations. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring timely deliveries while maintaining the highest standards of safety and customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate 26’ box trucks to transport airfreight shipments.
- Ensure timely delivery and pick-up of freight according to dispatched schedule.
- Communicate with dispatch and clients regarding delivery status and any issues.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper handling and security of shipments.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries and vehicle inspections.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies.
Qualifications:
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Proven experience as a delivery driver, preferably in airfreight or local P&D.
- Strong understanding of transportation regulations and safety protocols.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to lift and handle cargo safely, use pallet jacks, dollies, other equipment.
