Position Title: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

Certification/Registration/Licensure Requirements:
- Active and unrestricted LPN license in the state of Virginia
- Current CPR/First Aid Certification
- 1-year work experience in a behavioral health or mental health setting preferred
- Knowledge of medication administration and monitoring
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct nursing care, including medication administration, monitoring of vital signs, and addressing patients’ physical and mental health needs
- Assist in crisis intervention and collaborate with healthcare providers, including psychiatrists, nurse practitioners, and counselors, to ensure high-quality care for residents
- Document patient care, vital signs, and treatments in the Electronic Health Records (EHR) system, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records
- Educate patients and families about prescribed medications, treatments, and health management strategies
- Participate in treatment team meetings and contribute to individualized treatment plans
- Ensure adherence to state regulations and best practices in psychiatric care
Qualifications:
- Completion of an accredited LPN program
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-stress environment
- Experience in mental health, addiction recovery, or a related field is a plus
- Commitment to providing trauma-informed, patient-centered care
