Visiting Rehab and Nursing Services is searching for an energetic Physical Therapy Assistant to join our amazing TEAM of clinicians that can:

· Provide physical therapy treatments to individuals in their homes
· Develop individualized treatment plans in conjunction with the physical therapist
· Monitor patients’ progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary
· Educate patients and families on how to perform exercises and activities
· Maintain patient records and document treatments
· Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure patient safety
· Provide physical therapy services in accordance with professional standards and regulations
· Assist patients with mobility, gait, balance, coordination, and strength training
This is a consistent per diem opportunity for a Physical Therapy Assistant to perform treatments in residential settings in Brockton and the surrounding area. In this role, you will help to provide physical therapy services and support to patients in their home environment. You will be responsible for assessing the patient's needs while providing education and support to patients and their families. You will be an integral part of our team, helping to ensure that our patients receive the best possible care in the comfort of their own home. · Base rate: $35-$40/visit
· Mileage reimbursement: .62/mile
Requirements
Home healthcare experience is recommended, but not required.
· Candidates must have MA Physical Therapy Assistant license.
· Minimum of 1-year experience as a Physical Therapy Assistant.
· COVID- 19 vaccination is required of our staff.
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team while working with a variety of patients and medical professionals
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
· Must possess strong organizational skills and attention to detail
· Ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks
· Ability to use a computer, including electronic medical records (EMR) systems
