Collision Repair Technician

Visual FX is hiring in our Collision Department!

We will be adding an Auto Body Technician to our team to help us with our increased volume of work! This will be a Full-time flat rated position. Come work at our new state of the art facility. A Body Technician must have the following knowledge/skills:

• Disassembly
• Body Prep
• Body Work
• Panel Replacement
• Rust Repair
• Reassembly
• MIG Welding

Responsibilities:

• Perform thorough inspections of vehicles to assess damage and determine necessary repairs.
• Utilize mechanical knowledge and hand tools to execute auto body repairs, including rust removal and sheet metal work.
• Conduct automotive repairs and maintenance, ensuring adherence to safety standards.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects while providing excellent customer service.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, and keep tools and equipment in good working condition.

• Can work in a fast-paced environment with minimal errors

These skills are plus but not required:

• ASE Certification(s)
• ICAR Certification(s)
• Knowledge of Wiring Fundamentals
• Mechanical Skills
• TIG Welding

TECHNICIANS MUST HAVE MOST OF THEIR OWN TOOLS. Individuals must have their own transportation to and from work.  Our work hours are 8:30 am to 5:30 pm Monday through Friday.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $21.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
