Title: Tool Crib Attendant – Sterling Heights, MI
Job Description: A detail oriented and organized individual to join our company as a Tool Crib Attendant in our Production Department. This is a full-time position. The Tool Crib Attendant is responsible for receiving, storing, and issuing cutting tools, materials, and equipment in the shop.

Reports to: Production Supervisor
Responsibilities:
- Maintain assigned work area in a neat and orderly condition.
- Issues tools and equipment to workers and maintains records of tooling.
- Receives, unpacks, and stores incoming tools and equipment, and requisitions stock to replenish inventory.
- Inspects, measures and sets tools.
- Marks and identifies tools and equipment, using identifications tag, stamp, or marking tool.
- Demonstrate good organizational skills.
- Maintains good housekeeping practices at all times.
Requirements:
- 2 years of inventory experience.
- High School diploma or equivalent GED certification; or one year related experience and/or training; or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Basic knowledge of general machining practices, the ability to correctly use required gages and other required inspection equipment, blue print reading, and other mechanical applications as required (training may be provided if necessary).

- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, sit, and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch; and smell. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
