Voyage Recovery Center is Hiring a Behavior Health Technician (FT) Near Jupiter, FL
- Maintain practices according to Voyage's policies and procedures to ensure the safety of patients and employees;
- Assist the clinical staff by reporting all useful observations of behaviors and interactions between patients and staff;
- Maintain professional boundaries with patients, according to Voyage's standards;
- Attend all scheduled staff meetings;
- Document accurate, fair, and detailed shift reports, to assist clinical in monitoring patient's behaviors at the house;
- Monitor patients regarding all program rules;
- Transport patients in company vehicles safely, and timely manner, by operations Supervisor and Clinical Director;
- Administer drug screens, upon suspicion, or randomly, when directed to;
- Must help keep the property and common areas clean by completing a daily checklist consisting of cleaning, organizing, making preparations for the next shift, and other tasks directed by Operations Supervisor;
- Identify situations that require incident reports, and other paperwork, then complete the proper documentation promptly;
- Must be punctual and maintain good attendance;
- Taking patients on inshore and offshore fishing trips.
- Valid FL State Driver’s License, required;
- Maintain current CPR certification;
- Understanding of medication pass and medication counts;
- The high degree of attention to detail, personal initiative, and commitment to quality;
- Must have a clean driving record;
- If in recovery yourself, 2 years sober is preferred;
- A love for and knowledge of inshore fishing is preferred;
- Ability to care for and maintain fishing rods and tackle.
