Job Description
Position Description:
• Looking for a proven SharePoint Professional with experience in the implementation and full development cycle for requirement gathering, custom design, application development, testing, and implementation for business workflow initiatives.
• This individual will configure additional workflows within the Department of Law and Public Safeties’ Document Management System.
• In addition to the configuration of workflows, the developer will evaluate overall SharePoint taxonomy and propose changes as needed, to ensure ease of use to the additional business users who will be trained to use workflows, tag and upload files to a common managed format.
• The selected candidate will work with the Department’s Human Resource office and Information Technology staff to study the specific use cases of training, travel and employee on-boarding and will provide the hours to document, configure and put into production workflows to automate the processes.
Skills Required:
• Experience preparing briefings and status reports for management.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong analytical skills
• Proven ability to work independently at designing, developing and delivering solutions.
• Strong experience in the SharePoint CSOM and client side development
• Solid SharePoint Migration Development experience in regards to content, UI and Apps
• Solid experience developing SharePoint components including web parts, event receivers, feature receivers, custom columns and content types
• Design and develop information architecture constructs, including managed metadata, content types, site columns, among others.
• Advanced knowledge of best practices for SharePoint customizations;
• Excellent knowledge of SharePoint Designer Workflow and Forms development;
• Strong in SharePoint 2003 and MOSS 2007/SharePoint 2007 knowledge;
• SQL server 2005, 2008 and 2012 experience;
• Experience working with Law Enforcement Agency and related security requirements;
Experience Required:
• 5 years SharePoint development experience;
• Experience in SharePoint Client Side Object Model (CSOM) and SharePoint REST API
• 4 years SQL Server administration experience;
• 4 years’ experience with JavaScript;
• 4 years’ experience with JQuery;
• 4 years’ experience PowerShell;
• 4 years’ experience with Angular JS;
• Experience with .NET Framework, C#, ASP.NET, Visual Studio;
Education Required:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
